St Francis De Paula Church

Altar Rosary Society 

Purpose/Mission:  The Altar Society of the parish raises monies to buy altar linens, vestments, etc...for the altar.

Activities:  Varies activities, includiing bake sales, jamica concession and others are planned in order to raise funds for altar supplies, vestments and an annual youth scholarship.

Volunteer Opportunities:  We can always use help!  Cakes are needed for the various bake sales.

Membership Open to:  Any woman in the parish.

Altar Servers

Are both boys and girls that are under the direction of Belinda Paiz and Sally Lichtenberger.  They meet every other Wednesday at 6:30pm at CCD Classrooms.

 Columbian Squires

Are under the direction of the Knights of Columbus and server the community in many different ways.

Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas

Are a branch of the mother court: Catholic Daugters of the Americas: Padre Pedro Bard #2016.  These young girls serve the community and the church in numerous ways.

Eucharistic Ministers

Purpose/Mission: Eucharistic Ministers help to distribute the Blessed Sacrament at Mass and to take it to shut-ins at home plus the residents of two nursing homes.

Activities: Ministers of the Eucharist must have received the sacrament of confirmation and be practicing Catholics in good standing with the church and be over the age of 18. Ministers are scheduled on a routine basis and must commit to being present when they are scheduled. Meetings are called twice a year or when needed. Eucharistic Ministers are chosen by the parish priest.
